I was born in Romania, and fell in love with paintings, and colors at an early age.
I started out doing abstract paint, watercolors, and combination with tempera.

I earned my degree in engineering, and architecture, at the University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, in Bucharest,  I moved to Dallas, Texas in 1995, to reunite with my husband. After this big change, to adapt and fit in a new world, my art was on the back burner for about 34 years. All that time, I looked forward to the day I can start painting again. I imagined myself ( many times ) in the front of white canvas, and having time to create.

I worked in finance field, full time, for about 22 years, in Dallas area, and I retired late 2018. I start to paint almost immediately, mostly acrylic, and mixed media.. My husband and my son encouraged me, and always admired my talent, and my excellent gift for colors. Now my art is in many exhibits in Austin, Round Rock, Fredericksburg, Liberty Hill and Georgetown and I am selected in many events.  I have workshops with different ages and I enjoy to teach what I learned, so abstract art can be viewed more and understand better. I start to volunteer in art events, more and more, and I am member with Williamson County Art Guilt, with Creative Art Society of Austin, with Baca Center in Round Rock and Bee Cave Art for few years.
The fiber art that I design is a handwork that is becoming a lost art as technology invades our desire to craft organically. Every piece that I create is designed in many techniques and sometime I combined painting brush with the fabrics, clay, leather silk, wire and different fibers.

I always believed that is never too late to pursue your dreams, believe in yourself, be confident, and walk the walk, rather than just talking the talk.
